What to Do if Your Site Appears Broken?

Posted on 2025-04-15 Updated on 2025-07-09

Sometimes, when the WP Website Speedy plugin is active, some sections of your website might appear broken or become non-responsive.

This often takes place due to conflict that arises from optimization settings or other plugins.

Below are a few things you need to do before reaching out to our Support team.

Step 1: Make Sure WP Website Speedy Isn’t Causing the Issue

You can easily check if WP Website Speedy is responsible by viewing the non-optimized version of your page. Here’s how:

  • Open a new tab in your browser.
  • Add ?nospeedy to the end of the problematic URL. Example: yourwebsite.com

Using the ?nospeedy parameter forces the page to load without any WP Website Speedy optimization.

If the issue disappears, it might be related to our optimization settings. If the issue persists, it’s likely caused by something else on your site.

Step 2: Purge all cache

Sometimes, it is possible that some of your resources may not be cached properly. By allowing a full purge, it will delete all cached files, and WP Website Speedy will begin optimizing your site from scratch again.

To perform this, go to the WordPress plugin dashboard and click on the button ‘purge cache’.
