How to Install Website Speedy App on Bigcommerce

Installing Website Speedy App on your Bigcommerce site is a simple process that helps enhance your site's speed and performance. Follow the step-by-step video guide below to get started.

Step 1: Log in to your Bigcommerce account.

Step 2: Go to the Website Speedy app: https://www.bigcommerce.com/apps/website-speedy/

Step 3: Click on the Get This App Button.

Step 4: Then Select the Login Option if you have already logged in. If you do not have a Bigcommerce account, click on Sign Up to create a new one.

Step 5: Then Select your Account and Store on which you want to install the Website Speedy App and click on the Continue button.

Step 6: Then click on the Install button.

Step 7: Then click on the Confirm button.

Step 8: Then click on the Launch App button.

Step 9: You will be redirected to the Website Speedy Dashboard, where it auto-fetches three key URLs of your website. These are used only for reporting. Before proceeding, check your website's current page speed using PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Pingdom. After that, click on the Boost Speed Now button.

Step 10: Click on the Analyze Updated Speed button.

Step 11: Now, you can compare performance and speed insights side by side on Desktop and Mobile. You can also verify the data using PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Pingdom.

Step 12: You can request the Website Speedy team for a manual audit to further optimize your site's performance.
